Return Policy
Contact us to before returning an item using the form below or please contact us through phone by calling us at 1-224-534-3969, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm CST.
All requests for returns or exchanges must be made within 7 calendar days of the delivery. All exchanges or returns must be received within 10 days from the authorization date. The refusal of accepting the delivery will be regarded as return.
All the returning merchandise must be in its original sellable condition with its original package including all of its contents. Otherwise, your return cannot be accepted for a refund, and therefore you will be responsible for all shipping fees to occur, including sending the package back to you. We cannot refund any and all shipping/handling costs. If you refuse to be responsible for the shipping fee, we will dispose of the returned package and you will not be offered a refund.
For electronic appliances or goods, we are not responsible for malfunctions or defects of the unit after 24 days of the delivered date. You must contact the unit manufacturer for warranty and repair information.
Ship the items that are to be returned by using UPS Ground, US Postal Service Priority mail or US postal Service Parcel Post.
For a return of an international order or refusal of a package, you are responsible for the sending and returning shipping rate. Also, you are responsible for any taxes and duties and process fees provided by customs through these transactions, which may be incurred by the returning or refusing of a package.
We do not refund or accept returns for magazine, Video, DVD, foam heads and manequins, chemicals (hair coloring items and developers).
We have right to refuse the returning merchandise if we suspect the returned merchandise has been used already.
We do not accept returns for discontinued items, clearance items, special orders or wholesale transactions.
Return of Free Shipped Items
- If you return any items from an order that received Free Shipping, the original cost of the shipping associated with the returned items will be deducted from the refund amount unless the return was a result of our own error.
20% Restocking fee Applied items
- A Restocking fee of 20% will be applied to the following items: Wigs, Ponytails, Half Wigs, Domes, Pigtails and any other ready to wear hair goods.
10-20% Restocking fee Applied items
- A 10% - 20% restocking fee will be applied to all weaving and braiding hair. These products will be charged for any damage done to the packaging and/or the hair product. After inspection of the returned item, we will credit you back accordingly.
10% Restocking fee Applied items
- A 10% Restocking fee will be applied on all Human Hair weaving or braiding hair that costs over $100.
Wigs, Ponytails, & Half Wigs, Dome, Pigtail and any other ready to wear hair goods are refundable only for store credit or you can request an exchange for another item in the store.
- Exception: All Sales are Final on Lace Front Wigs including all liquid and tape adhesives.
By requesting for an exchange, you are agreeing to be responsible for any extra fees that may occur to process the exchange. It is your responsibility to be aware of the extra fees in the exchange process as you will not be notified.
If we do not hear from you either by email or phone within 30 days after we receive your return, we will not be responsible for the item and it will be disposed of after 30 days.
Undeliverable & Refused Packages
- Any order returned to our facility without previous authorization from ShopHairWigs.com (ie. unauthorized returns, refused packages, incorrect address, etc...) will be treated as a return.
Store Credit(s)
Any store credit will not be valid and expire exactly one year after the date it was issued. We will not be held responsible for any store credit claimed after this time.
Orders can be canceled and all fees (including but not limited to additional shipping costs and/or re-stocking fees will be applied.)
If a delivery is refused for any reason, or considered undeliverable you will be charged a penalty that may include, but is not limited to extra shipping charges. Please proofread your order and shipping information before finalizing.
1stColor & 2ndColor Choices: 2nd ColorChoice: If 1st Color Choice is out of stock, the 2nd Color Choice will be sent. Some colors have an additional cost that does not appear in the 2nd Color Choice options list. If the 2nd Color Choice is more or less expensive than the 1St Color Choice we will charge or credit your account accordingly. The prices listed for each color in the 1st Color Choice options list are the prices that apply to the 2nd Color Choice.
